Wish the dropper were better. It does not fill to the top line, only halfway, which is not a big deal but it doubles the time it takes when giving to a large amount of cats. That's the only drawback. I'll still be ordering more of this soon though, good product!

Usually it's on her food, but lately she's started licking it right from the dropper as I try to put it on her food. It really has helped with her sinus issues. I've noticed that she's not sneezing hardly at all since we started it and her eyes are less runny. She's been on it about 3 months now. Price isn't bad especially when compared to going to the vet for a visit and meds.

I am a SKEPTIC. But my poor kitty has FIV and had an attack of the immune system. It started destroying her red blood cells and her bone marrow platelets TANKED. She was close to death. We brought her home and I had already bought this. She's on an antibiotic and a steroid. They gave us Elura (appetite stimulant) did not work. She didn't eat. I swear I gave her this, she took a nap then awoke like a sleeper agent looking for food. I can't credit this for everything because like I said she's on antibiotics and steroids but I give it to her twice a day and she's eating, no sneezing, and she has an appetite. She still might not make it but I 100% know this has given us more time with her and made her comfortable. I am very happy with this product and am on my second bottle.

I'm so glad this L-Lysine dropper exists!! Before, I were finger-feeding a few kittens that wouldn't eat on their own from URI with a gel form of L-Lysine alongside another supplement with food. Ever since they reached the point of being able to eat by themselves again, I'd been adding this to their kibble and wet food and wow, it really helped! One kitten, who had her eyes tightly shut for weeks when given the gel and nutritional supplement, had them slightly open the next day after eating kibble with this product mixed in, and by the following day, her eyes were so wide I almost didn't recognize her! Since I've began using this, affected kittens who previously seemed to have difficulty relearning to eat the kibble solo, are showing a normal appetite again and have full, protruding bellies like they used to!!
Oddly, some have shown signs of regression where their eyes could be very clear and bright one day, then one would be closed or watery again the next. The more I continue to give them food with this liquid, the healthier their appetites seem. They are showing signs of energy, and alertness, compared to how sluggish they were before.
The contents of the bottle definitely seem more broth-like than anything else. My only gripe is the dropper usually gives .75 rather than the full amount, each squeeze. But, on the bright side, their suggested dosage is great when feeding a colony who all benefit from it!

Upon doing some research as to how to help them, I came across this L-Lysine Supplement and overnighted it to our home. After taking 3 to 4 doses of this, all of my babies were back to their normal, playful selves. Their appetites returned and their congestion, eyes, and noses also cleared right up. They also collectively LOVED the taste (and we have some extremely picky eaters) making it so easy to administer as they all just believed it was a treat. The strong smell was also a benefit as that is recommended for their appetite to return making them want it even when their respiratory function is hindered making some smells hard for them. This product has been a game changer for my Persian. Before she would wake up with her eyes, crusted shut and be wheezy all day long. One dropper of this every night has totally cleared her up! No more goopy eyes, they are totally clear 24 seven. We still get an occasional sneeze/wheeze but that's true of any cat. I cannot tell you the difference this has made. And Mabel loves the flavor of this! She would drink the entire bottle if I left it out! Please give it a try I think you'll will be pleased. It has made our Persian's life so much more comfortable. The first picture is after having used the drops for a couple of weeks and the second picture is before. You can see how she can hardly get her eyelids open. But after her eyes are as clear as can be.

My cat had a serious sinus infection from multiple issues including infected top fangs and 5 other bad teeth removed from my 13 year old kitty. She also had underlying allergies and a weaker immune system than my other cats, likely due to her being a feral cat that probably came from other feral cats that weren't properly nurished. After three rounds of antibiotic, two long acting steroid injections, and eight extractions plus a sinus flush, I had my work cut out for me at home to provide a full recovery. I did my own research and found this product which I used along with a nebulizer and she improved significantly. She is almost back to her normal weight, sleeping and breathing comfortably with a great appetite. It is always important to see the vet for necessary treatment but what we do at home to help our pets is crucial and goes a long way in recovery, particularly from a bad sinus infection. Is it a miracle? Time will tell but after less than 24 hours, my British Shorthair who has had runny eyes for nearly 9 years is sitting in the window right now with dry eyes ??. He also recently, over the last 2 years, starting sneezing during springtime. I didn't know cats get allergies, but putting two and two together, it must be that. Anyway, I have not heard one sneeze from him since I gave him his first dose. He's a big boy (18lb) so I gave him 2 droppers full in his wet food. He's picky, he would not lick it up directly from the dropper. I will update this review if anything changes but for now, I am completely astonished at how effective this supplement is. In fact, I feel bad I didn't do this sooner. We'll see if his coat improves and/or his energy. So far, great product and I highly recommend giving it a shot to treat leaky eyes.

Two of my three felines will ask for this straight from the dropper. The other one requires a football hold. Purchased the lysine because two of the three have issues with the eyes and the vet had recommended this supplement. The liquid supplement has been the best option for mine versus treats. You just have to find which one your cats prefer.

We rescued a stray cat approximately 9-mo ago that was living on our property (long before we moved in). When we took him in he was extremely frail and emaciated, with very little energy, and he was runny, sneezy and wheezy.

SHORT STORY (if you just want to get to the point): We��ve recently begun using this L-Lysine product and it��s definitely helping (along with daily Albuterol nebulizer treatments). I definitely recommend it. He also enjoys the flavor (thank goodness). The only negative is that it can get messy, as it drips off the glass dropper - so - bring a paper towel with you!

LONG STORY (if you��re curious): For context, when we moved into our temporary rental while buying a home 13-mo ago there were approximately 15 stray cats on the Lot and we installed gravity feeders, automatic water bowls, and temperature controlled cat houses on the side of the home for them. They were all VERY friendly and took to us quickly, even responding to the names we gave them, over time. We worked with a local nonprofit to get them TNR��d, as well as their much needed vaccines. For the most part, they were just hungry. But they gained weight quickly once they started being fed regularly and had a safe/comfortable place to eat and sleep.

Anyway, back to the one we took in�� he was NOT gaining weight and his energy was fading, fast. One night we came home from a dinner out and noticed that he couldn��t walk across the driveway to say hi to us, which meant he was likely not walking to the food/water, either. When I went to his self-proclaimed sleeping spot he was purring loudly and rubbing his head in my hands, but it was obvious that he was giving me every ounce of energy he had. His breathing was labored, and nose running profusely. He was one of the few cats that already had an ��ear tip�� (meaning he was TNR��d before we became involved), which meant the nonprofit wouldn��t typically get involved, but luckily we are good friends with the woman who runs it so we immediately called her (at 9 p.m., as they do their nonprofit TNR��s at a local shelter through the night when the facility is closed) and she told us to bring him right away. We put him in the carrier, which he didn��t even protest to, and drove him over and left him there for the night. Their vet was able to determine that he had a SEVERE URI (Upper Respiratory Infection), and was SEVERELY DEHYDRATED (he went through 3x the amount of fluids a typical stray would receive). We also opted for the SNAP Test and were told that he DOES, in fact, have FIV. They gave him a heftily dosed antibiotic shot and let us take him home the following morning.

There was NO WAY I was putting him back outside in that state. We quarantined him inside our home (we had 3 of our own personal indoor cats and URI��s are extremely contagious), and for 3-WEEKS he barely wanted to leave his sleep space. He slept like he had never had a true peaceful moment of sleep in his life! He was so grateful and loving. He also doubled his weight in that short period of time. We realized almost immediately that he was now a part of the family.

Unfortunately, the URI didn��t seem to fully clear so the vet gave him an oral round of antibiotics. He got ��better�� but within days of finishing the prescription his running nose, sneezing, runny eyes and asthma attacks would return. Fast forward to 9-mo later and he has (unfortunately) been through 5 rounds of different antibiotics. All had the same result: good then back to sick almost immediately. He��s also been to the vet (not the nonprofit) 4 times, which is pricey (but worth it for his comfort). We��re now waiting on the lab test to come back on his nasal swab - as they have been treating him as bacterial, but, given that he is FIV+, it��s likely viral. Anti-virals are expensive and since we did the SNAP test without proper education prior to attaining pet insurance, it��s considered a ��pre-existing condition�� so it��s not covered.

In the interim, we��ve recently begun using this L-Lysine product and it��s definitely helping (along with daily Albuterol nebulizer treatments). I definitely recommend it. It helps to keep the runny, sneezy, wheezy stuff at bay. If it has been working well for him, it should certainly help others, too. The product is more like a broth, than a syrup, and it is made with quality ingredients.
